Hi, my name is Arturo, and I’m the chef behind Lime & Salt Chef.
My love for food started at a very young age. Some of my earliest memories are being in the kitchen with my great grandmother, my grandmother, and my mother, watching them cook all day. Naturally, because I was always nearby, they eventually put me to work helping with prep. By the age of four, I had cooked my first scrambled eggs, and from there, cooking became a passion.
That passion led me into professional kitchens at the age of fourteen, where I started as a busser and chip fryer. Over the years, I worked with different chefs and restaurants, building my skills through hands on experience. I learned by doing, creating everything from scratch and working with flavors and techniques from different kitchens. From taco night to wok stir fry, or even a beautifully seared duck breast, every step taught me something new. Part of that journey even led me to work an event during the South Beach Food & Wine Festival.
Lime & Salt Chef was created to bring that experience directly to you. Whether you’re hosting a private party, planning an intimate dinner, looking for weekly meal prep, or simply want restaurant-style food without having to cook, I’m here to make the experience personal, flavorful, and stress free.
